Winter is Coming!

When you're #tall, fall and winter are some of the most challenging shopping seasons ever! Finding jackets to cover your entire arm and pants that don’t show off your ankles is far from fun.

If you’re anything like me, I was beyond ecstatic when the thigh-high boot trend returned. Aside from accentuating my 48-inch long legs, they provided the perfect place to hide my high-water pants.

Here are a few fall-fashion survival tips exclusively for those that are #above-average:

  1. Opera gloves are your best-friend. Go for the fingerless option to give your long fingers room to move. I found this $4 option on Shein.com. For those cold and snowy days choose cashmere gloves for added warmth. I found the pair pictured above at Saks Off 5th a few years ago and purchased them in every color.
  2. Vests are great because they’re sleeveless! Throw your favorite vest over a long sleeve shirt and you’re ready to venture out into the cold. The North Face has some great options for cool days, rain and snow.
  3. Did I mention thigh-high boots? Have you met Stuart Weitman's Ultrahighland, Midlands, Tielands and Lowlands boots? I highly (or should I say HIGHLY) recommend purchasing multiple pairs in every fabric choice. They’re a great year-round accessory.

Fashion Tip:

For this FIT I paired my Stuart Weitzman (size 12) suede Highland boots with TallFit O.G. black leggings (size med), an O.G. black training jacket (size med) and my favorite NorthFace vest.
